Welcome to the Mosstowie Parent Council section of the website.

The Mosstowie Parent Council is designed to help parents and guardians become more actively involved in their children's educational environment. 

We have the following objectives:

• To work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all parents and guardians.
• To promote a partnership between the school, its pupils and all its parents and guardians.
• To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils.
• To identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils. 

In addition to its primary objectives the Parent Council also helps to raise funds for the school. Throughout the years Its efforts have helped to purchase numerous pieces of equipment including 17 new Netbooks in 2011 and 3 new interactive panels in 2016. The Parent Council also aims to provide financial support for a whole host of projects and events for the pupils, improving their educational environment and welfare.

The Parent Council endeavors to meet twice every term. All of Its meetings are informal and friendly, offering parents a chance to voice there opinions/ideas or concerns to the Committee and the Headmaster, who also attends our meetings. 

So how can you get involved?

The Parent Council welcomes all Parents/Guardians to every meeting. Indeed all you have to do is turn up! The Parent Council is always looking for new ideas and additional help with many of its planned activities and fundraising events.
